Invite Players to Your World#

Sending Invitation Links

Sending Invitation Links
  1. Change to the Settings tab of the right-hand sidebar.
  2. Click on the Invitation Links button.
  3. Click on the Local Network or Internet invitation link to copy it and send it to your players.
    • Choose the Local Network link if your players are on the same wireless network as you, for example, if they're all at your house for an in-person game.
    • Choose the Internet link if your players are not on the same wireless network as you and you're playing remotely.

What to do if you see a red X next to your Internet link:

If there's a red X next to your Internet link that means your network is not currently open and your players will not be able to connect to your game. You may need to port forward or make other changes for this to work. You can get assistance on this setup in the Foundry VTT Discord's #install-and-connection channel.
